Meet: Big Sky Quad
Date: 2011-04-19MISSOULA - Meagan Leathers of Florence was a triple winner at an unscored quadrangular track meet Tuesday afternoon at Missoula Big Sky.
Leathers won all three throws, taking the javelin at 108 feet, 6 inches, the shot put at 33-9, and the discus at 108-10.
Missoula Big Sky junior Elle Tinkle and Polson's Breanne Kelley took a pair of wins apiece.
Tinkle won the 200 in a quick 27.32 seconds and the long jump at 15-3.5.
Kelley swept the hurdles, winning the 100s in 16.27 and the 300s in 49.49.
Big Sky jumper Vasiliy Lemeza was the only double winner on the boys' side. He took the high jump at 5-9 and the long jump at 19-11.5.
Big Sky's Jay Owens won the 300 hurdles in a quick 41.89. (Missoulian, April 20, 2011)
