Congratulations to all of those who improved their performances or advanced to the State Meets this weekend. The deep lists have experienced a major re-shuffling.
FIRST - If you know that automatic (FAT) timing was used at your meet please send me an email so that I can adjust the hand times. I realize this is a little backwards, but it is this only way that I can ensure the times on the deep lists are accurate.
SECOND - If you have information for track and field camps this summer send me the information. I am going to add an additional CAMPS page to the montanatrack.com home page.
Thanks. -Paul

My sun-burned face tells me that the weather has improved over the last week. Best of luck to all track athletes over the next three weeks in the district, divisional, and state track meets. Thanks for your continued suppport.

I realize the economy is weak but if you can donate a few dollars this spring it can help me keep the site running for another year. Thanks for your continued support. -Paul

Big meets (like the Swede Dahlberg and Optimist Invitational) brought some big changes to the deep lists this week.
It has been a very busy week at montanatrack.com. Nearly 1000 people visited the site on Wednesday. You can see from the map below that visitors to the site cover most of the state. Billings, Bozeman, and Missoula have accounted for nearly 50% of the traffic this spring.

Another great weekend for track meets. The Miisoula and Billings Invitationals added quite a few performances to the deep lists. Please send me corrections or additions at montanatrack@q.com. It is hard for me to tell which meets are automatically timed and so please send me a note if you know that FAT was used at a meet.
Special thanks to my wife Laura for helping me enter performances into the deep lists. If you would like to help out just send me an email and I will give you access to the spreadsheet through Google docs.
Have a great week. -Paul

Nice weather produced some amazing performances this week.
- Dalton Sybrant's discus throw has already surpassed the leading throw in the state from last year.
- Chris Wilson seems to be in fine sprinting form this early in the season. With the new AA qualifying standards he is already headed to the state meet.
- The Dennehy-Aragon 1600m must have been an amazing race. With the state AA meet being in Kalispell (at a relatively low elevation) could the state record be in jeopardy?
Best of luck to all competitors this week.
