Meet: Big Sky Triangular
Date: 2011-04-12MISSOULA — On Tuesday, the Missoula Big Sky boys' track team flexed its muscle with a dominating win over Missoula Hellgate and Helena at Missoula County Stadium.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Michael Duncan with wins in four events. He took the 100-meter dash in 11.63, the 400 in 53.58, the long jump at 19 feet, 10 1/4 inches and the triple jump at 43-4 3/4.
Helena won the girls' competition, followed by Big Sky and Hellgate. Elle Tinkle won the 200 (26.76) and 400 (58.95) for the Eagles and Paige Gilchrist the 1,600 (5:26.8) and 3,200 (11:17.8) for the Knights. (Missoulian, April 13, 2011)
